Star Wars. It is the greatest movie ever to be made. And it was made three times. Each of the original three Star Wars are perfect. The characters are perfect, the costumes are perfect, the settings are perfect, the theme, I could go on... They were enthralling. They were set on the other side of the galaxy. They had space travel. It was so REALISTIC. Every single prop and detail was inserted to make all this really LOOK like a space travel epic that was occuring somewhere extremely fat away. Star Wars was a perfect creation. It was a conglomerate of many contributing individuals. All of them were "in" on the idea, and had a sense of what they were creating. It was heroically epic, and futuristically inventive. It was everything we thought it would be like; to go to the other side of the galaxy. Where there were aliens and space crafts. They were blasting off in these spaceships.... and going across the screen and it looked so real. We were sucked into the adventure. The story was a Hero's tale. We loved Luke and wanted so much for him to achieve his destiny. With all the realistic costumes, we had every reason to believe that this story was real. George Lucas spared no detail. Everything was thought of and accounted for, and was presumed to exist. Star Wars found a unique group of altruistic contributors, who wanted to make something great and something meaningful, and something different. The timing was right. People who went to see this movie in 1977-1983 were completely blasted away. Star Wars brought us out of the room and into a different location on the other side of outer space. The into credits were unique, the colorings were unique. The story had never before been seen, with characters never before seen, and who came together so seamlessly, and so effortlessly, with everyone cooperating cohesively. The space adventure was so well-acted. It has one of the best actors of our time: Harrison Ford, and one of the (if not The) best actor role performance of all time: Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill. Harrison Ford was Han Solo, the swashbuckling pirate space flight sidekick. Luke was the hero who came from nowhere and was called to save the entire galaxy. We identified and loved him so much. His plight was so admirable, and his efforts were so incredible. It was so futuristic, and so cunning, and encapsulated all the elements of an amazing hero tale. It had a mix of religion and inventive creativeness with The Force. It was a fun ride, through outer space. Literally. We got inside the cockpit, and were shown the lights streaming past us at 30,000 million miles per hour as we blasted off. It looked as if what it would really look like. Star Wars had a genius of group collaboration that everyone could enjoy. Pick your part, every part in every three movies are good. There are so many fun things. Every plot point is substantiated and supported with realistic plot turns, all in a futuristic world where we believe it's existence. They have robot droids that talk, and super fast laser guns. The cameras go inside all the ships, and inside all the cantinas and inside spaces of the alien planets. We see the mechanics of the space ships and technology on all the planets. All the physics and realities of it seem to make sense. As if it COULD all happen. Star Wars was the best thing ever to happen on the earth. And I think it will take us eventually to space travel and making this happen one day. Even if that day is in a really really long time. Like in 30,000 years. But it will be awesome then.
