Deadpool 3: aka Deadpool and Wolverine was the most hyped up of movie of this year (2024). And to my delight and the delight of many, it was awesome. It had a lot of special effects, maybe too many, but had Gambit in it,who was totally awesome. Reynolds put some other XMen in this, too, and it really hit the sweet spot. It wasn't just Wolverine and Deadpool battling it out. It was several characters and an interesting plot. Reynolds' humor was on display and is such an awesome thing to see. Everything he says is funny. They made a montage of several different Wolverine character alternates like what he would be in a different universe. There was a lot of violence actually. Deadpool and Wolverine killed each other like 20 rimes. It was just so cool to see Gambit. Gambit was an X-Man character that they almost came close to making a movie out of with Chris Hemsworth in the early superhero movie days. It is rumored he was so nervous he did not even do the audition to its fullest extent. Thankfully now we can an authentically created character, with the exact wardrobe that he does in the comics. And the portrayal from Channing Tatum was unbelievable. It was as accurate as it could be, while still being cool. The humor of Reynolds and Wolverine were great. The bad guy was this bald girl from England. Somewhat weak but it was well acted. There was this supporting actress character who was just a girl in a t-shirt who looked like she just got up off a couch. She was one of the heroes in Deadpool's band. It was really underwhelming because she looked like just regular person with a t-shirt. But the whole movie worked. The plot was about this "Void" in reality and they had to get back to the normal reality. I think it was a pretty strong point. The actor who was one of the villians also was kind of weak, they made him have too many lines, and he was just talking, and he was a flat character compared to all the others in the movie. It was a cool experience in the movie theater for this, everyone was excited.

There were too many special effects in the movie. It made it like watching a video game. It was sort of a fake movie. This was the one drawback. The camera would rotate and have digital enhancements in many of the parts. It makes it unable to watch in my opinion. It makes it something they should do for kid movies. Kids love fake animation and digital stuff. For a real movie I think you have to have real people. But most everything else in the movie was good. Reynolds does this one joke about 'pegging' which is some perverse weird sexual thing that I think was way too extreme to put in a superhero type movie. It is just inappropriate and it is too revealing of Reynolds sexuality in a huge blockbuster film. Leave this part out. That is probably the only part in this movie that should have been cut. They also had a Mad Max spin off with part of the movie having desert vehicles and mad woman overlord. It was priceless to see the humor of Ryan Reynolds, though. He is one of the most gifted humorous people of our generation.
